What happens at your first appointment
Your first visit is mostly about understanding the problem. We want to know what's going on, what's driving it and whether we're the right people to help, before any hands-on treatment begins.
What to bring
- Any recent scans or reports (X-ray, MRI, CT), if you have them
- Your private health fund card, to claim your rebate on the spot
- A referral or letter from your GP or specialist, if you've been given one (you don't need one to book)
- Comfortable clothing you can move in
Please arrive a few minutes early to fill in a short history form.
Step by step
- Book online or call. Pick your chiropractor and a time online, or call 0406 405 958. Online bookings are confirmed instantly.
- Tell us the story. We go through your history: when it started, what makes it better or worse, your work, sport and general health.
- A proper assessment. We examine how you move: posture, joints, muscles and, where relevant, nerve function.
- A clear explanation. In plain English, we tell you what we think is going on, what your options are and what we'd recommend.
- A plan that fits you. Your chiropractor explains the treatment they recommend and gets started once you're comfortable with the plan.

New patient questions, answered
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with us online or by phone. If you have a referral, scans or reports, bring them along.
Which chiropractor will I see?
You choose. When you book online you can pick either Dr Shane Moss or Dr Joshua Elvin, along with a time that suits you.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you can move in. There is no need to bring anything special.
Can I claim on my private health fund?
Rebates are available on the spot for most extras policies that include chiropractic. Bring your health fund card to claim at the clinic.
Where do I park?
There's parking right outside the clinic at Unit 2, 7 Arnott Street, Edgeworth.
What if chiropractic isn't right for my problem?
We'll tell you. Every new patient is assessed first, and if another health professional is better placed to help, we'll point you in the right direction.
